Ideas and tips to save resources and make your clothes last longer.
Wash jersey using a cool wash temperature, as long as the fabric is not heavily stained.
Turn embellished or patterned garments inside out and try to avoid mixing bright colours and whites in the wash, as the colours may bleed.
Don’t over-fill the washing machine as this will cause more creases in your clothes and they won’t be cleaned as effectively.
100% of our items undergo chemical and physical testing to ensure compliance with the limits we have set for the use of chemicals, which at times are even more stringent that those set by international standards.
This item contains regenerated polyester, a technologically advanced fibre that is made by recycling plastic from bottles at the end of their useful life, with the twin benefits of avoiding recourse to new fossil-based resources and the dispersion in the environment of materials that are not biodegradable. Thanks to regenerated polyester, we can save up to 85% of energy and reduce carbon dioxide by up to 75%.
Acrylic is a man-made fibre that is fossil in origin, and it is widely used for its characteristics of light weight and softness, as well as for its heat-insulating properties. Its extraction stage involves a high environmental impact, comparable to that of other materials with similar characteristics, such as wool. We are working to replace it with more sustainable alternatives.
Elastane is a man-made fibre with fossil origins, and it is used to add elasticity to fabrics. We are working to use valid commercial alternatives and new design approaches that will be more sustainable.
Wool is a natural fibre with animal origins, traditionally used for its light weight, softness and insulation properties. It is renewable and biodegradable, but its production is associated with a high impact on the environment. We are working towards using alternatives such as regenerated or certified wool, or even towards replacing it with something more sustainable.
We have made conscious choices based on the utmost responsibility and transparency at every stage in the production chain. All of our suppliers share this same commitment towards the well-being of people and the planet, and are compliant with the strictest protocols in terms of eco- and social sustainability.
